Rachel Auty | Founder, Creative Consultant

Rachel is a marketing leader, brand and communications strategist.

She has 26+ years of experience in marketing and business with qualifications in marketing, leadership and management, and coaching, and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

She has a degree in Fine Art, is a practising artists, and a creative and entrepreneurial thinker.

She has worked extensively as a consultant and in-house head of department across the arts and culture. This includes arts festivals, theatre, visual arts and exhibitions, and live events.

She has work directly with SME founder-owner-managers, senior management teams, and boards of directors across tech, charity and not-for-profits, and FMCG. This rare breadth of cross-industry business and marketing experience enables Rachel to bring fresh and unconventional thinking to drive change and build resilience.

Rachel is passionate about the representation of women and women in leadership, with the bulk of her activism focused on the heavily male-dominated beer industry. She was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) for her work to positively raise the profile of women in beer.

Rachel founded beer equality social enterprise, Women On Tap CIC in 2017 to celebrate women in beer and tackle sexism in the industry.

An award-winning writer, Rachel is board director at the British Guild of Beer Writers (BGBW).

Rachel is based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. She works across the UK and internationally.
