A Pint of Love - Film #3 of 3
“..bringing the pub back was an essential part of breathing life back into this town. Not only has it given people shared purpose and a place to connect and relax, but it’s also inspired other businesses to follow suit”
Here is the third film in a series of three - the final chapter - telling the stories of community-owned pubs in the words of the people who saved and rebuilt them. This time we’re with Yr Heliwr in Nefyn, Gwynedd.
There’s more about this project in this article, written to accompany the release of the three films.
This third film has a different pace to the others, and perfectly reflects the sense of stillness and calm in Nefyn following another busy summer season for this popular tourist destination.
It was a privilege to meet the community, and to learn that having this pub open again is not only about having a place for local people to belong and connect - it’s a vital lifeline for the town when the holidaymakers leave.
