Where Community Grows - Film #2 of 3

I’m so happy for this community. They achieved the impossible in Skeeby - taking back the pub from the jaws of the developer who was already well on his way to making sure it would never be a pub again.
— Rachel Auty

It’s time to share the second film in a series of three, telling the stories of community-owned pubs in the words of the people who saved and rebuilt them. This time we’re with The Travellers Rest in Skeeby, North Yorkshire.

To find out more about this project, read the article I wrote to accompany the release of the three films - Pubs As Community Glue.

This film is another reminder that good people exist, that people care, and that there IS hope. I hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed learning all about this wonderful pub and community.
